Liver Lover Delight
1 Beetroot peeled and quartered
1 Lemon peeled and quartered
½ a cup of frozen raspberries
A handful of mint
1 nob of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
250mls of water
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Beetroot is a great source of folic acid and fibre, it is also extremely good for your liver and it is also rich in nitrates help with blood flow throughout the body. Many athletes drink beetroot juice to help boost stamina. Lemons are wonderful for getting the digestive juices flowing and ginger is a fabulous digestive aid. Raspberries are full of vitamin C which is a powerful anti-oxidant helpful in maintaining immune function they also make this smoothie taste delicious and zingy.
